We are working in small groups for our final project in my 3d modeling class. We are trying to make a small “Firefly” inspired (Sci-fi meets western) theme town. We have been learning the reasons behind modular design. Below is some railing I’ve made along with the texture I slapped on it. I’m responsible for the upper part of our building. Basically we have turned the roof into a waiting area with a bar and tables for lounging. Finished the framework and roof this weekend. There are a few mapping issues I will have to take care of during the final clean up but I’ve got make a few different types of chairs, tables, and a light fixture or two.
